因交叉滚子轴承是薄壁小型结构,所以要充分考虑支承座或固定法兰的刚性。(如下图)当外圈是分割型时,如果支承座或固定法兰及固定螺栓的刚性不足,就不能均等地固定内环或外环,在承受力矩负荷时轴承将产生变形,因此,滚子的接触区域会变得不均匀,轴承的性能就会显著地降低。
